Why Your Circumstances Don't Matter

Why Your Circumstances Don't Matter

Your circumstances don't matter. Read that again!

Too many people use their circumstances as an excuse for staying behind in life. Are you one of them?

Why It's Important to Take Responsibility

You have power over your life.

Power over WHO you are, WHAT you do, and WHO you become.

Stop telling yourself otherwise.

Your life is a direct result of your actions.

Billionaire investor Warren Buffet said, "My life is a result of compound interest."

His life is an amazing and fulfilled one, don't you agree?!

Your circumstances may not be ideal. But what're you going to do about it? Just sit there and feel sorry for yourself? Or are you going to take action?

Take responsibility for the outcome of your life, because life will meaninglessly pass you by unless you do!

Be Intentional

Be intentional about your mindfulness. Believe in yourself to grow despite your unfavorable circumstances.

Oprah Winfrey has famously said, "You are not your circumstances".

You are better than that. Honor yourself and treat yourself with kindness. Be ambitious of WHAT you can do and WHO you can become.

BE the person you were meant to be!

You can THRIVE even when the circumstances around you aren't built to make you succeed.

Stories on Why Your Circumstances Don't Matter

Being in nature naturally puts me into a philosophical state where I'm fully aware and observant of my surroundings and how they set examples for our lives as humans.

I learned lots of lessons from a thought-provoking hike on Easter Day, this being one of them.

While being observant of the bareness of the desert at Joshua Tree, there were plants that were THRIVING. The extreme heat, low precipitation, and a place seemingly devoid of life, was sprinkled with signs of life and growth.

There are also countless inspiring stories of people who have been born into extreme poverty but have gone on to live extraordinary lives, despite the odds that were stacked against them. Think: Tony Robbins.

Remember, your circumstances don't control your outcome, only you do.
